Comments: There has been no british comedy ,although the office, vic & bob, extras, fastshow and the mighty boosh came fairly close [and I've probably mist a few to be fair, but we are talking over 15 years of telly], to match the young ones! it is just the best on all levels! Why don't they just bring it back. Would it be so bad to have another comedy about scruffy, snotty, spotty ,students? obviously the old jokes wouldn't just be rehashed in new surroundings, but how much has changed when it comes to scruffy, snotty, spotty ,students? [Neil would be a 'Goth' instead of a 'hippy', Rick would be a 'Trustafarian', Viv would be a football hooligan with a pet english bull terrier called 'General Pinochet' [GP] and Mike?? well we wouldn't need to change much there, he was a bit of an enigma anyway! Comments: When "Farenheit 911 was released, only one theatre in my town would show it, and they showed the uncensored version. I arrived at the theatre and lo and behold, two state police cruisers were parked directly in front of the entrance. To see the movie, you had to walk past the glaring state cops. I'm not bullshitting you. This was the first time in my life I had ever seen force of state used to keep people from seeing someones ideas. It was my firsthand glimpse of facism. I went in anyway. The images in that film are unfortunately seared into my brain forever along with the memory of the hyperparanoia of that time.
